About EACT

Education Association for China Tomorrow (EACT) traces its history back to International Education Foundation which was initially founded by a group of patriotic scholars who were concerned with China's education and development in 1999. In 2006, EACT was approved by US Federal Government and officially became a nonprofit, tax exempt 501(C)(3) organization. Through more than ten years' growth and development, EACT has become a quite active and influential nonprofit organization not only around DC area but also internationally, particularly in the field of education enhancement and cultural/educational exchange promotion. At the threshold of the next ten brand new years, EACT intend to concentrate on three main missions.

US-China Cultural Exchange Promotion

EACT has been devoted to wide range of US-China cultural exchange activities. We deliberately formulated the "Chinese Cultural Expansion Plan" aiming to further US-China people-to-people exchanges, enhance Chinese cultural recognition among US folks as well as strengthen Sino-US and international partnership. In order to make more Americans, especially US youth, to know Chinese culture, we have designed and implemented a series of lectures, trainings, and forums, etc. What is more, we also organize inter-country educational, cultural and arts exchanges and visits. Particularly, we designed summer and winter camps for youth of both countries, such as Parent-Child University Tour, SAT Training Camp, US Youth Leaders Training Camp, China Cultural/Arts Performance Tour and China Volunteer Action, etc.        read more...
